If you haven’t noticed already, The Chain is revitalised, refreshed and regenerated for 2019 with a fresh lick of paint.
The last 6 months have enabled us to build connections with our audiences, our contributors and small businesses to further understand what our goal is and how can we achieve that and ultimately our goal is to be the go-to independent news publication covering everything urban culture, from dining, events, shopping, coffee etc. you get the picture.s
Another key aspect of the brand and community we want to build is our strong support for small business. Sydney is busting at the seams with great local haunts not getting the recognition they deserve for their crafts and we believe that we need to get their stories, products and messages out there for people to appreciate.
Our new logo is very similar to our launch design although we wanted to keep it simple, and reflective of our views. The C represents the chain of people, coming together in the form of the site to build a community of people who appreciate things we take for granted such as our local shops, cafes and restaurants providing things we accept without thinking about the stories behind them.
We really hope you enjoy The Chain in 2019 and continue to help us grow into one of Sydney’s leading media publications by the end of 2020, that’s the dream. Let’s Chase it.
